The month of October is duly dedicated to Our Lady. Because of this, we would love to honor her in a special way by making this our October Lego and Craft Challenge!
Our viewers have loved meeting Deacon Bobby, an aspiring priest who sat down with us two and a half years ago to explain to us his preparation for the priesthood. Now, Deacon Bobby sits down and speaks to us under his new title: FATHER Bobby! Join in the discussion as he responds to questions about expectations, his favorite moments, and funny stories that have occurred so far in his new priesthood!
School is back in session, and you know what that means? The Lego and Craft Challenges are back! As you can see from this perfect example above sent to us by Carley, Legos allow the imagination to merge into reality as creations, developed within the mind, make a physical appearance through our God-given hands and these tiny plastic wonders. Because of this, we are afforded an awesome opportunity to express the knowledge and understanding of our faith through their use!
At the suggestion of someone who has developed and overseen an extremely successful Catholic Lego Club in her area, we are thrilled to re-introduce you to the home of the "Catholic Lego and Craft Challenge."
Here, children (and adults!) will find a place to express their understanding of Scripture, the Church, and the lives of the saints. Your submissions will have a home to be loved and enjoyed by others, giving witness to the faith and teaching lessons along the way!
September Challenge: Jericho
A favorite from the past and exemplified in the submission above, this story has a LOT of potential in both Lego and craft creating! Submissions in the gallery have wowed us on this subject, and we can't wait to see the other ideas in store!
Just Click on the Catholic Challenge Zone Tab above and choose either the Lego or Craft option to submit your photos.
We can't wait to see your take on this fun theme!
Well, we knew there would be some issues, but we didn't expect to have NO success in achieving the Livestream! Apparently, the main problem centered around insuffiecient wifi strength. Justina will try to look for alternatives to get around this issue. Thank you for your patience as we figure this out, and we GREATLY look forward to chatting with you in the future Livestreams ahead! :)
It's time!! Justina's first Livestream! It will be held TODAY, at 3:00 EST. (Can anyone guess the reason behind this hour?)
Please get ready to join us in the chat. Please do be patient, though, in case we encounter some issues. We hear that the first time doing a livestream can pose some initial challenges! :)
We hope to see you there!!
